Rotary Santa Run

Metropolis Performing Ars Centre
Runners of all ages and abilities are invited to jolly themselves up in Santa suits and race a 5k, traffic-free course, 1 mile walk for a Santa Stroll or 10 & Under Reindeer Dash.
Caring Santa

Woodfield Mall, Schaumburg
Visit Santa in a sensory-friendly environment. A private photo experience for children with special needs and their families. Children will have the opportunity to visit with Santa and have their photo taken. Necessary adjustments will be made to support any accommodation.
Breakfast With Santa
Sunday, Dec 4, 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Chez Hotel
Bring the family and enjoy our delicious Breakfast with Santa! Along with Santa's Elves Workshop for Kids! Santa Will be available at each seating for a photo op. Please be sure to bring your cameras. Santas helpers will be available to entertain the children with balloon artists, face painting, crafts and much more.
Winter Frostival

Arlington Heights Historical Museum
Arlington Heights Park District presents, Winter Frostival, on Saturday, December 10. Visit with Santa, enjoy hot cocoa and cookie stations, sing along with Rolling Meadows High School Madrigals, meet your favorite Ice Princess and Ice Queen, make crafts and hop aboard on the Winter Express Storytime Trolley Train!

Let the holiday fun continue with a visit to Friendship Park Conservatory! This indoor/outdoor event features the beautifully decorated atrium and facility, games, a scavenger hunt, a photo opportunity with the big guy in the red suit of course and more!
Holiday Gingerbread House

Arlington Heights Historical Museum
Helping to continue a well-loved tradition, families will receive all of the materials to build their very own gingerbread house! Hopefully you use more candy then you eat as you decorate as much or as little as you'd like with an assortment of candy provided. No baking necessary for this program, just show up, have fun and get creative
Holiday Gift Workshop (Ages 5-7 & 8-12)
December 17, 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
The Art Studio, Mount Prospect
Your child will complete adorable last minute gifts for friends and family in the festive Art Studio workshop. With holiday music and oh so much fun, 2 to 3 projects will be done! Class size is limited, register early!
Holiday Hunt (Ages 3-12)
December 21, 4 p.m. - 7:45 p.m.
RecPlex Pool, Mount Prospect
Start your holiday break by plunging in RecPlex Pool for three dive sessions per time slot. Prizes will be given for collecting “ornaments” in the pool. Santa will be making a special appearance for photo opportunities in his workshop.
